What happens when I arrive?

We ask that you sign in and answer the questions that appear on the sign-in sheet before your appointment begins. The two questions pertain to any relevant medical history that will affect the massage. What happens during the massage appointment?

Your massage therapist will lead you to your own private and comfortably decorated massage room where you will take a few minutes to exchange your goals for the session and any pertinent medical information. The therapist will instruct you to undress to your level of comfort, indicate how to lie on the massage table and then to cover yourself with the sheet and blanket if needed. At that time the therapist will exit the room for several moments while you prepare and relax on the heated massage table. The therapist will knock on the door and wait for your response before reentering the room. You will remain completely draped throughout the appointment while the therapist will uncover the arm or leg as it is massaged. From this point your only concern is relaxation and comfort. Appointments are usually provided in silence however you are encouraged to communicate your preferences for pressure, temperature and comfort.
