Come celebrate the 21st anniversary of Mountain Massage Inc.
Mountain Massage Inc. was established in 1986 at the Split Rock Resort in beautiful Lake Harmony, Pennsylvania. In it's early days Mountain Massage consisted of one small shared massage room at the fitness center. As Split Rock expanded to add to the amenities the Sports Complex was built to house the current fitness center, bowling allies, game room, tennis, basketball courts and of course the new and current home of Mountain Massage Inc.
Our facility includes four private massage rooms and a large relaxation area where you are welcome to sip herbal teas, browse our natural product selection and relax while reading our wonderfully eclectic selection of periodicals and books.
Please ask about our most recent addition, a double room to accommodate couples massage. We look forward to seeing you on your next vacation or conference in the Pocono's.

- Meet the Staff -
Sharon, Bobbi, Shelly, Susan, Liz, Allison, Marielle, Vee and Jean
Bobbi - a 1988 graduate of the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Lenox, Massachusetts. She is certified in the School of Massage & the School of Yoga.
Sharon - Sharon completed a 500+ hour massage therapy program at Luzerne County Community College. She brings 16 years of experience to our group. She specializes in Swedish, Warm Stone and Deep Tissue massage.
Shelly - a 2004 graduate of Health Options Institute in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. My training includes Swedish, Neuromuscular, Warm Stone, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage and Therapeutic Touch. Clients often comment favorably on the unique combination of techniques that are brought to their sessions.
Liz - 20 years certified massage therapist, Bachelors in Exercise Science and a former personal trainer. She offers a variety of modalities including Shiatsu, Reflexology, Sports, Swedish, Pregnancy and Warm Stone Massage. Liz brings her unique modality to the table - "every body is different".
Allison - a recent graduate of the Skuylkill Institute of Business & Technology/ School of Massage in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. I offer Swedish, Warm Stone, Seated Chair and Deep Tissue Massage.
Marielle - Trained at Health Options Institute in Bethlehem. Pennsylvania. I am certified in Deep Muscle Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Stretch Rehab, Therapeutic Touch, Shiatsu, Sports Massage: American /European/Russian, Seated Chair Massage and Hot Stone Massage.
Susan - Trained and certified at Learning Tree University in Thousand Oaks, CA (1992) and Pennsylvania's Health Options Institute, Susan has worked as a chiropractor's clinical massage therapist for 13 years. She has also served as sports massage therapist to Heavyweight Boxing Champion Lennox Lewis and to members of his training team from 1996-2004. Susan is also a harpist who combines harp music with massage therapy in private practice.
We are grateful for the diversity of professional training, array of skills and years of practice that characterize our massage therapists. Our clients seem to agree as the most common response following appointments is "that was the best massage I have ever had!"
